What this is

A simple, rules-based way to own good companies at fair prices. We don't predict the market — we let the numbers do the picking, the same way every month.

How it works — three steps

1. Find quality and value. Every company is scored on how good the business is (returns on capital, margins, balance sheet) and how cheap it is (price versus what the business is actually worth).

2. Wait for the trend. A cheap, good company only enters when its share price is genuinely turning up — so we don't try to catch a falling knife. Value tells us what to buy; momentum tells us when.

3. Hold, then let go. We own about 30 names, weighted so jumpier stocks get smaller slices. We rebalance monthly and keep a holding until it clearly drops out of contention — a deliberate brake on over-trading. Names ranked just below wait in the buffer ("knocking on the door").

Why it should work

Cheap + improving + trending up has, in long-run back-tests, beaten an equal-weight universe (roughly 5–6× versus 2–3× since 2018, after modelled trading costs of ~40 bps a side). The value side gives a margin of safety; the momentum side keeps us out until the market agrees.

What it is not

Not stock tips. Not a fund. Not a promise. It is a transparent, repeatable process you can inspect at every step — every score, every holding, every reason.

The honest risks

It will at times own cyclicals (miners, shipping, oil) that swing hard. It can lag when expensive growth stocks lead the market. And a back-test is history, not a forecast — the future will differ.
